Clinical laboratory sciences (also known as medical technology or medical laboratory science) is a biology/chemistry-based bachelor's degree that prepares students for careers in hospital labs and clinics, forensic labs, veterinary clinics, industrial research labs, and molecular biotechnology labs, among other places.
Blood, urine, tissue, and other body specimens are analyzed by professionals in this field. The results of these tests are crucial in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
Scientists who work in laboratories are in high demand. Laboratory science offers strong employment security, with future growth expected to be above average for all occupations.

Course Requirement
- Birth certificate
- 6 passport photo and two plastic files (blue, green)
- A minimum of 5 credit at not more than 2 seating in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (including mathematics and English and any other 3 departmental subjects)
- A copy of the applicant’s international passport or ID. Card.
- Medical report
- Master's degree/postgraduate certificate
A graduate of IRGIB-AFRICA University or another approved university is required for entrance to the master's degree program.
