Course Overview
A health information system enables health care organizations to collect, store, mana ge, analyze, and optimize patient treatment histories and other key data. These systems also enable health care providers to easily get information about macro environments such as community health trends.
Health information management courses are offered as part of associate's and bachelor's degree programs in health information management or health information technology. Although certification is not required to work in most healthcare settings, some management positions may require license.

Course Requirement
- Birth certificate
- 6 passport photo and two plastic files (blue, green)
- A minimum of 5 credit at not more than 2 seating in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (including mathematics and English and any other 3 departmental subjects)
- A copy of the applicant’s international passport or ID. Card.
- Medical report
- Master's degree/postgraduate certificate
