It is an expansive field that considers not only how and why a message is created, but also the medium through which it is sent. These mediums are wide-ranging, and include print, digital media and the Internet, social media, radio, and television.

- 6 passport photo and two plastic files (blue, green)
- A minimum of 5 credit at not more than 2 seating in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (including mathematics and English and any other 3 departmental subjects)

The West African Union University (WAUU) is a private university situated in Cotonou, Benin. It was founded in 2014, having been registered with the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Benin. As of 2015, there are some 50 on-campus students from Nigeria and Benin, as well as some 400 distance learning students running different programs in Nigeria
