Irgib Africa University Cotonou, Benin Republic was founded in 2005 and officially opened in 2006. It is the first private university institution of higher education in Benin, with fully authorized training and research centers recognized by both the Republic of Benin's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other institutions worldwide.
Irgib Africa University has three main campuses: Porto-Novo, Parakou, and Cotonou, with the administrative headquarters in Porto-Novo and minor campuses offering academic programs in English and French. To both undergraduates and graduate students, each campus takes the same approach to academic ideals and its rich cultural legacy.
IRGIB-Africa, like all great universities, aspires to promote the spirit of research and excellence in the ECOWAS region's Scientific, Technological, and Economic sectors.
